<div>Surgery done, the post op is painful but I'm on bed rest with meds. Got a two week post op check up and it went well. Turns out the plate put in is 11 inches. Got a cast out on again so this is now my third cast. Another check up with specialist in two weeks

<div>*UPDATE* 11/22/25
</div>
<div>So went to get checked up and after seeing more x-rays, the Dr concluded I fractured my tibia, apparently a weird bone to fracture with an ankle fracture usually it's the other bone. So surgery is probably an option to put plates in to stabilize my foot. I'll update after I see an orthopedic doctor.

<div>11/12/25. Hi everyone, my name is Sara. Last October, I injured my lower back and tore a muscle, and then on Halloween, I fractured my ankle. Since then, I’ve been unable to work while going through physical therapy and recovery.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I’m only asking for assistance to help cover essential bills like my phone and health insurance, as well as transportation to physical therapy and doctor’s appointments and specialist appointments since I can't drive or take public transportation right now, and the cost of my medication. Also possibly a knee scooter so when I can put weight on my foot I can go back to work hopefully using the one scooter.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Recovery has been slow and honestly very frustrating, but all I want is to get back to work and back to a "normal" life again.
</div>

<div>If you’re in a position to help, your donation, no matter how small, would mean so much. If you’re not able to give, sharing this page would also be a huge help.

</div>
<div>Thank you for taking the time to read this and for any support you can offer while I work toward getting back on my feet, literally.
