4th Annual Monmouth U. Student Charity Trivia Tournament!
Donation protected
On behalf of Monmouth University’s 'Hawk TV' and a handful of hard-working students, and in conjunction with Greek Life, we are incredibly proud to present the 4th Annual Monmouth University Student Charity Trivia Tournament! On Friday, April 25th, from 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm, 6 Monmouth students will compete in a three-round Jeopardy-style tournament broadcasted LIVE from Hawk studios here on the campus of beautiful Monmouth University! Each of these 6 students has chosen a charity near and dear to their hearts. 50% of all proceeds collected during this fundraiser will be donated to the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) and the remaining 50% will be donated to the charity chosen by our winning contestant! We raised $1,750 in 2022 ($875 was donated to CHOP and $875 was donated to the Poverty Network of New Jersey), we raised $2,435 in 2023 ($1,218 was donated to CHOP and $1,218 was donated to the Safe Project), and we raised $1,500 in 2024 ($750 was donated to CHOP and $750 was donated to Tunnel to Towers!)
The event will be live-streamed on YouTube (the link will be posted HERE on the day of the tournament), it can be enjoyed from the comfort of your own home, and it is completely free to watch. In addition to raising money for several phenomenal causes, this night will also be about highlighting these six brilliant Monmouth Students, their academic achievements, and their contributions to our Monmouth Community. Hawk TV has also put together a special series of additional programs, games, and contests that will be interspersed throughout the evening!
