4th Annual Juneteenth for Fargo & Moorhead

The 4th annual Juneteenth Celebration has gotten bigger and bigger so we are asking the community for some support. Last year we hosted 650+ community members, fed 127 children (for free), enjoyed 9 free art events and 10 free canival games and worked with 6 local businesses to showcase new technologies and interactive historic materials.

Honoring History allows us to celebrate the liberating work of our ancestors while harnessing their resilience, joy and traditions, as our own. Lets use history as a way to make the future freer for all of us. Cultural events like this are free and open to all members of the community. If you believe in Freedom, this event is for you. This year’s theme is Afro-futurism. To make progress towards the future, we must return to and claim our past. It is in understanding who we were that will free us to embrace who we are now.
