Sometimes we all need a little help

Hi friends, family, and strangers,
I know we are all about to see a lot of this in the coming weeks and months but I am here to ask for a little help on behalf of a dear friend of mine.
Britt and I met in high school. Brittani is an amazing free spirit with a beautiful heart. Things haven’t always been easy for her but I have been lucky enough to be her friend for nearly two decades. Recently she and her family have been struggling. After a lot of prodding, she and her newlywed husband (dating c. 2012, married 02/29/2020) finally agreed to let me create this fundraiser for them.
March of 2019, after years of trying, Joe and Brittani became parents to a beautiful baby boy, Joah. He is perfection. But if you are a parent you know how hard the first year of parenthood is. Having a baby when both parents own their own businesses is even harder.
Britt's web design work (along with several other ventures, https://britupcavage.com/) and Joe’s irrigation company (seasonal work) (https://buckscountyirrigation.com/) all took a hit this past year.
This, along with expanded financial commitments surrounding parenthood set this family up for a stressful start to 2020. To make things even harder they were told they had to move from their home (as the owners were getting ready to sell) just weeks before COVID-19 really took over our country.
They are now in a contentious situation with their landlords, who, want to list the house for sale April 1st and are not willing to consider a couple week stay extension while their region is under a shutdown and stay at home orders are in place due to COVID-19. These shutdown orders, and the fear over the virus brewing beforehand, caused Joe to lose contracts, then the ability to work altogether and made house hunting a public health risk.
While there is a moratorium on evictions until mid April, they do not want the situation to become any more hostile by not paying rent while they stay "unlawfully" in a house where their lease has technically ended. Once the governor deems it safe to move freely again, they will find a way to relocate.
The situation is far from ideal. They have no income, can't file for unemployment, are living in a house on borrowed time with unreasonable landlords, and can't even call on friends or family for a place to stay without risking the health of everyone involved.
I am here to ask you to please donate anything you can to help this family cover rent for the month of April and to help rebuild their nest egg to help them move in the coming weeks.
The loving couple (who met doing volunteer work, rebuilding homes for those impacted by various acts of nature) would very much like to, eventually, repay anyone who can donate with either work or repaying their assistance once they have gotten back on their feet.
If donating here isn’t your style please consider checking out their business websites and sharing those or this campaign. Thank you in advance for your consideration!
