On the morning of September 15, 2025 around 2am, my mother’s home burned down due to an assumed electrical fire. My mother, stepfather, and younger brother were asleep in the home as well as their two cats. Unfortunately, one of the cats didn’t make it; our sweet Trixy passed away during the chaos. We are looking to raise funds to assist in the cremation of Trixy as well as recoup some of the basic needs and essentials to get them through until they receive the insurance payout.
