Hello Guardian Angels,

I’m a 28 year old queer, living in Canada. My fiancé is queer, back home - where they’re being pushed into an arranged marriage. We’ve been in a committed relationship for over 6 years, four of which i had to leave them to build a life for us in canada, holding on through every timezone, visa wait, and sleepless night. But now time’s running out — and if I don’t act fast, we could lose everything we’ve built.

I was too proud to ask for help for 6 years, I’ve handled every crisis alone. But I can’t do this one by myself — and if I don’t try, I will never forgive myself.

They’re under pressure to say yes to a marriage they don’t want, just to keep the peace.

I’m working full-time here in Canada, trying to save every cent. But between the cost of flying back, getting married, paperwork, legal help, and eventually bringing them here — I can’t afford it fast enough. I’m in the negative already, and it’s killing me to know that money might be the only reason we miss our chance.

We’re keeping our names and faces private for safety of where we are from. I can share proof of bookings, tickets, expenses if needed. I just can’t risk our safety by outing us publicly. I hope you’ll understand that.

Flights for both of us - $4000 (cheapest multi-transit i can find)

Their Immigration Process - $5000 (probably will end up way more than this)

Wedding Costs - $300

(Honestly, We'd be happy with a $30 wedding at McDonald's, if it wasn't for the papers)

Every dollar helps. Every share helps.
