I'm playing a game to raise $14,000, by January 20, 2026. My late mother died in 2020, at the beginning of the pandemic, and she had a reverse mortgage on her house. Sadly, my mother never got the worth out of that reverse mortgage. I am trying to save my childhood home and have gotten approved to buy the house back from the government. However, I need to raise $14,000 more to go to closing at the end of January. I had the money for closing, and they keep changing the amount to go to closing to satisfy the loan, taxes and liens. I can’t borrow the money from traditional sources as it will change my debt portfolio.
