Hi

On Thursday I called and his phone went right to voice mail again so I just thought he hadn't charged it still. I called again Friday afternoon and same thing happened, so I waited and called around 5:30pm. This time when it went to voice mail I thought something is wrong. I drove to his apartment and honked my horn and he would come to balcony sliding door. When he didn't come I got someone to let me in and went and banged on his door and when he didn't answer I said something is wrong. I drove to the corner store to see if he had walked there but no he wasn't there. I went back to apartment and called 911. Police came in a short time and we got key from his landlord to get in. He had a door chain lock so policewoman kicked door in. John was laying on his back on the floor and she said his breathing was every shallow. They took John to hospital and by 3:30 in the morning they had to put a breathing tube down his throat into his lungs to help him breathe as his oxygen level was at only 40 per cent. Hospital just took tube out 2 days ago and put tube through his neck to help him if he needs it. Nurses have said it will be a long slow process for his recovery. We are not sure if he was 2 or 3 days on the floor of his apartment but they say he had pneumonia and also legionaire disease. He now gets dialysis and also blood transfusions when he needs it. Unfortunately I cannot keep up John's rent and his expenses, so the family and I would greatly appreciate any financial help we can get. I thank you in advance and hope you will send him your prayers
