After years of living in a toxic situation, my friend made the incredibly brave decision to leave and start over. Walking away from domestic abuse takes so much courage. It often means leaving behind stability, financial security, and the life you once knew just to choose safety and the chance for peace.
Since leaving, she has been working so hard to rebuild her life from the ground up. Step by step, she’s been trying to regain her independence and create a safer future for herself.
Recently she faced another setback. She was involved in a minor car accident. Thankfully no one was hurt, but her car was damaged and now needs repairs. For someone rebuilding their life with very limited resources, this unexpected expense is incredibly hard to manage.
She lives in a rural area where having a car isn’t just convenient, it’s essential. There is very little public transport, and without a reliable vehicle it becomes very difficult to get to work, attend important appointments, buy groceries, and manage day-to-day life.
Right now, her car is her lifeline while she continues rebuilding. She urgently needs help to repair it so she can keep moving forward and maintain the independence she has fought so hard to regain.
We are raising funds to help cover the cost of repairing her car and getting her safely back on the road. Every donation, no matter how small, will make a real difference and help ease some of the pressure she’s facing right now.
Leaving abuse takes incredible strength. Rebuilding afterwards takes support.
If you’re able to donate or even just share this post, you are helping someone continue her journey toward safety, stability, and a new beginning.
Thank you so much for your kindness and compassion.
