My dad met a homeless vet walking with his dog two years ago. My dad gave him work boots & a job. After a few weeks, Russell & Bear set back off again. Dad never stopped praying for them both. Well Russell called dad during springtime of this year & asked- if they walked here if dad would give him a job & a home. Needless to say Russell & Bear have been living on my parents property in a camper with full water, sewer & electric for the last 9 months. He does farm chores every morning with dad & attends all our family parties/holidays/bridal showers & weddings. However he can’t stay in the camper during winter & we’d like to get them both home to California for the holidays with the family he has left. We don’t want them to walk and he can’t take a bus or a train because he won’t leave Bear. We’re willing to pay your gas plus a precious cargo fee for your trip. God’s blessed us by giving us Russell & we’d like to bless him by getting this once homeless vet, HOME. He’s a really nice guy who enjoys all foods, cheap beer, classic rock & long walks across America. #getrussellhome We think we have a driver- we’d like to pay their gas & food the whole way and send Russell with some money for Christmas.
