Raise Funds for a Single Mom’s Legal Battle

Hi everyone,

I’m reaching out today on behalf of a strong and loving single mom who is in the midst of one of the hardest battles of her life. She has always done everything she can to provide for her son, but right now she’s up against the overwhelming cost of attorney fees. While she has been able to maintain representation for the past year, she has now exhausted savings and other financial resources and she is unable to qualify for aid. The hope was that this case would be settled expeditiously. Unfortunately, due to a lack of cooperation and intentional delays from the other party, that has not happened.

As a single parent, every dollar usually goes toward rent, food, school supplies, and the day-to-day expenses of raising kids. There isn’t room in her budget for the kind of continued legal help she desperately needs right now.

She’s not someone who asks for help easily, and has been hesitant to do so even now. But after over a year of legal expenses, while also not getting any financial support for her child, she’s now at a breaking point. We’re starting this fundraiser so she doesn’t have to face this uphill battle alone.

Every contribution, no matter the size, brings her one step closer to the peace of mind she and her child deserve. Your support will go directly toward her legal representation and will give her a fighting chance to protect what matters most: her family.
