We are in the process of adopting our daughter from The Democratic Republic of Congo. After over a year of waiting to bring our sweet girl home, we are at the last step now. In late August/early September 2013, we were getting prepared to travel. And then we were hit with a MAJOR blow. At the end of September 2013, the Congolese government suspended issuing exit letters- a document we must have to bring her home. They expect the suspension to last at least 12 months- which means another year before we could be allowed to bring her home.
We are raising funds to help with adoption expenses we have accumulated so far, and to help with our travel expenses. We appreciate each and every donation we receive.
