This one feels a bit different. Like most people, you never really think something like this will affect you or your family, until it does.

Recently, my brother David was diagnosed with a rare form of sarcoma, a type of cancer that many people haven’t even heard of. He’s now at the start of a long and challenging journey, undergoing aggressive chemotherapy, with radiotherapy planned following surgery. It’s a huge amount for him to take on, and the months ahead are going to be incredibly tough for both him and our family as he focuses on treatment and recovery. Through this, we also want to help raise awareness of sarcoma and the impact it has on so many lives.

On Saturday 9th May, I’ll be taking part in Pretty Muddy in Southsea.
