Just three weeks into their marriage, and with a baby due in December, Sara had to hear the words that she lost her husband, and the father of her unborn child. Needless to say, this pain and suffering that she is going through is something that most of us can’t imagine. But trying to cope with all of these emotions is only part of the battle.
Support is what this family needs right now. And financial support is going to be a huge part of that. Lost wages and funeral expenses are some immediate concerns; but money for Sara to be able to get back on her feet while trying to mourn the loss of her husband and raise a new baby as a single mother are needs that can honestly only be met by coming together as a community and lifting this girl up financially. Support from her family will be key during this long road, but this is a mountain that truly needs the help from anybody and everybody reading this.
Please consider donating as a way to show that you care. Any amount no matter how small will be a huge help to a woman in true need. There is nothing we can do to reverse this tragic event. Even words of condolences and expressions of sympathy and sorrow seem to fall short when trying to convey your feelings to this family. But we all know that nothing says you care like reaching into your pockets and lifting up those in need.
Tommy’s mom Sandra, family members, and countless friends close enough to be called family are all mourning this loss right now. Even if donations are not something that you can contribute, then emotional support and prayer are also things that are needed in a big way.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read this. From the family who is seeing this all unfold, we are truly blessed to have so many loving and caring people already showing support in every way possible. Thank you!
Where your money will go:
-Sara is due in mid-December. At this point she will not be able to return to work along with grieve this tragic loss. Your donations will help pay bills, her mortgage, buy groceries, get ready for baby to arrive (supplies), and remove the financial burden. Any and every generous dollar is more than appreciated.
Our mom, Dawn Grandel will be listed as the beneficiary. Her and a team of us will be the ones designating your donations to help Sara out with everything she needs. As you can understand, she is very physically and emotionally exhausted by everything at this point in time.
