Their work in Papua New Guinea for the incredibly rare Tenkile Tree Kangaroo and its rainforest home has evolved into an amazing community organization over the past 20 years. Not only has it brought a vulnerable species back from the brink of extinction, it has helped improve the lives for thousands of locals and is now protecting an area of tropical rainforest that produces roughly 1% of the world's oxygen.
BUT their future is not guaranteed! Funding needs to be found on an ongoing basis to allow their vital work to continue.
