My name is Beth Darragh, and I’m a teacher at Purdue Polytechnic High School. One of my students has just one wish this Christmas — to live with her mom and brothers again.

Four months ago, her mom lost her job due to an injury, and the family was evicted and forced to separate. The good news is that her mom has now secured a new job, but is still waiting for her first paychecks.

They’ve finally found a place where they can all reunite, but they need $1,500 for the down payment and first month’s rent.
