El 2 de octubre 2025 a las 1.15 mi esposo Edwin Quiñones Rojas fue detenido por agentes de inmigración ICE. Él era el chico que vendía fruta debajo del puente en la Cicero y la I 55. Es un hombre honrado, trabajador, respetuoso que con carisma se ganó el cariño de mucho de sus clientes con la bondad de regalarle frutas a personas que en el momento no tenían sencillo o algo parecido. Tenía 7 meses trabajando todos los días allí. Debido a su captura yo quedé sola con mi hijo de 8 años en este país. No sé cómo hacer para que me lo cuiden para yo poder salir a trabajar. Me da miedo que me agarren a mi. Todavía mi esposo está detenido en Arizona. No sabemos que va pasar con él. Mi hijo sufre mucho por su papá ya que él es muy apegado a él y todos los días lo espera. Es una situación muy fuerte sin saber que hacer como trabajar aferrada a Dios y me ayude esta situación tan fuerte.
