Introduction

My name is Lexie Bradshaw, I am 15 years old, and I am a student at Neale-wade Academy. I have lived in March all my life and in the summer of 2026, I am going on an expedition with Camps International to Kenya to help build schools and hospitals for underprivileged communities. I will be visiting villages and will get to see firsthand what it is like to live without the necessities that we sometimes take for granted and I am seeking sponsorship to make this dream and experience a reality.

My Story

I have always been passionate about helping others such as volunteering locally and doing small things to help my community. After learning about the struggles in rural Kenya, I felt compelled to act upon it. I love having conversations with people who come from different backgrounds and finding out more about them and I think by going on this journey it will open more doors to have these conversations within those communities.
