Hurricane Ida made landfall in Louisiana on Sunday, August 29th as a Category 4 storm, hitting the southeastern part of Louisiana with destructive winds and rainfall that have caused widespread damage throughout the region. It the moved on towards the Northeast and continued to wreak havoc in New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Over a million homes and businesses were left without power Many neighborhoods were flooded, and authorities from one end of Ida's path to the other are just beginning to determine the damage done and what help will be needed. But you can help right away. ams OSRAM has teamed up with United Way and will be running a relief campaign from September 3rd until September 30th in order the help those affected. ams OSRAM will also match the total donations at the end of the campaign.
