Some families carry more than most of us will ever know.

Sofiya is the daughter of our own Musti and his wife Sarah, and the much-loved little sister of Hassan and Musa. She lives with two rare conditions, Hydrocephalus and Prader-Willi Syndrome.

For Sofiya, that has meant more surgeries and procedures than any child should ever face. It means hospital visits that never really stop, and care that doesn't pause for nights, weekends or holidays. Her family is still searching for the right treatment to help her, and every new appointment, specialist and option comes with its own cost.

Sofiya is non-verbal, but she has her own beautiful ways of letting her mum and dad know when she's happy and what she needs, and they've learned to read every one of them.

Through it all, Musti and Sarah keep showing up for Sofiya, for their boys and for each other. They hold everything together while trying to give their children a life that feels as normal as possible. Most of us will never see how much that takes.

Musti is part of our Rev X family, and we look after our own. So now it's our turn to show up for them.

On Friday 23 October, the Rev X Fitness Society community will take on 4 for 24. We'll keep three treadmills and an erg bike moving non-stop for 24 hours, from 9:30am Friday 23 October to 9:30am Saturday 24 October, with members rotating through day and night. The machines don't stop until the clock does, because Sofiya's family never gets to stop either.

Every dollar raised goes directly to Sofiya and the Wehbeh family. It will help ease the pressure of ongoing medical costs and care, and give them a little more room to focus on what matters most: being together.
