Help Us Keep Our Family Together

My name is Aubrey Rodler and I am the step mother of the beautiful child in the photo. She has been living with my husband and I primarily since she was in 3rd grade and is now in 10th grade. Her mother has done everything in her power to rip our family apart over the years and each time we have been able to overcome it and become a stronger family. My stepdaughter has expressed many times how she does not want to go to her moms. That she doesn’t feel safe, she is ignored, belittled, yelled at, and made to clean up after them. Her mother filled for full custody and was initially thrown out by the judge because there is absolutely no basis. We had another court date and the referee left everything the way it was and has been for years! Today, my husband had a court date that we were never notified about. After receiving a call from the referee he got on the call for the hearing. (Mind you my husband updated our mailing address last meeting and her lawyer also has our address) The referee once again was going to leave things the way they were until the mothers lawyer mentioned my daughters boyfriend. My daughter is 15 and a sophomore in high school. She met her boyfriend last year who was a senior. So because she has a boyfriend that is over 18 now (he has an early birthday) our child is being taken from us, ripped from her school, her friends, her sports, and everything she has known for years to go live an hour and a half away with people she doesn’t even want to see every other week!

we are trying to get money to pay an attorney to get her back! Anything helps! Even if this doesn’t work to help offset the costs, we will fight and do whatever it takes to get her back!
