Help bring our loving father home

On the morning of Wednesday, June 4th, my dad, Joel Gutierrez, was taken in by ICE on his way to work. Unfortunately, there was a raid that morning where he was not a target but was just at the wrong place at the wrong time and detained by immigration officers. Everyone who knows my dad knows that he is a great husband and an amazing dad. He is the best friend anyone could ask for and is always there when someone needs a helping hand. He is the hardest worker and has done everything in his power to make a good life for my family and I. Being that he is the sole provider of our family, we are asking for your support during these hard times while we figure out the next steps. In the meantime we ask for your prayers while we continue our fight to bring him home. All funds collected will be used to cover his lawyer fees as well as living expenses while we try to find a job in this economy. We thank you in advance for all your support in these hard times. We understand that not everyone can help financially but we would deeply appreciate if you can share to help spread our story.

La mañana del Miércoles 4 de Junio, mi papá, Joel Gutiérrez, fue detenido por ICE camino al trabajo. Desafortunadamente, esa mañana hubo una redada donde el no era la persona de interés, sino que simplemente estaba en el lugar equivocado en el momento equivocado y fue detenido por agentes de inmigración. Todos los que conocen a mi papá saben que es un gran esposo y un padre increíble. Es el mejor amigo que cualquiera podría desear y siempre está ahí cuando alguien necesita ayuda. Es un gran trabajador y ha hecho todo lo posible para que mi familia y yo tengamos una buena vida. Siendo él el único sostén de nuestra familia, les pedimos su apoyo en estos momentos difíciles mientras decidimos los próximos pasos. Mientras tanto, les pedimos sus oraciones mientras continuamos nuestra lucha para traerlo a casa. Todos los fondos recaudados se utilizarán para cubrir los honorarios de su abogado, así como sus gastos de manutención mientras intentamos encontrar un trabajo en esta economía.
