480 Mile for Hull4heroes
Hi, my name is Rhys, and I am a proud veteran of the HM Forces from nearly 20 years ago.
This year, I've set myself a challenge to walk 480 miles on the Camino de Santiago in Spain, over the course of 30 days, starting on the 29th March. This journey is not just a personal challenge but also a mission to raise funds and awareness for a cause close to my heart. That's why i will be raising money for Hull4Heroes.
Transitioning from the military to civilian life is rarely easy. Many veterans face profound challenges, including finding stable housing, meaningful employment, and coping with mental health struggles. It's a journey that can feel isolating and overwhelming without the right support.
Hull4heroes steps in to bridge that gap. They provide life-changing support by offering housing, employment opportunities, and a drop-in centre in Hull where veterans can find community and care. Their vision for the first transitional veterans village is a bold and inspiring project, creating a space where veterans can rebuild their lives and thrive.
Every donation, no matter the size, will directly contribute to this vital work. This will ensure that no veteran has to face these challenges alone.
Thank you in advance for your generosity and for joining me on this journey to make a difference. Let's walk this road together for those who have served us all.
