48 miles for Carl

My names Joey Puddister and I’ll be running a 2 day 48 mile Ultra called the 4x4x48.

This year I’ll be running in honor of my former teammate and roommate Carl Lewis.

Carl was an extremely gifted basketball player but more importantly a great person with a bright future ahead of him.

Sadly Carl was killed at the age of 19 after returning home to Compton California following his first season as a professional.

I’m running in hopes that Carls memory can continue to make a positive impact on youth today and into the future.

Any money raised will be going directly to the Boys and Girls Club.
