My name is Adham Al-Najjar. I’m 35 years old, a husband, and the father of four beautiful children. Today, my entire family lives inside a small 5-meter tent in Al-Mawasi, south of Khan Younis in Gaza. This tent has become the only shelter we have left, even though it can barely fit us or protect us.
My children sleep pressed against each other because there’s no space. My wife tries her best to keep everyone warm and comforted, but the tent walls can’t shield us from the cold nights, the heat, or the fear. We have no privacy, no stability, and no real place to call home.
I’m trying every day to keep my family safe, but the situation is far beyond what I can handle alone. We urgently need a larger tent so my children can sleep comfortably and live with some dignity. We need a small bathroom so we can maintain basic hygiene. And we need help covering food and medical care, which have become extremely difficult to obtain.
I’m not asking for luxury. I’m asking for the minimum a father needs to keep his children healthy and protected.
Any support, even the smallest amount, can make a real difference for my family. It can give us space to breathe, to stay clean, to treat illnesses, and to live as human beings again.
Thank you to everyone who reads, donates, or shares. Your kindness means more than you know, and we will never forget it.
