I’m currently facing an incredibly difficult situation. The main provider in our household was unjustly taken from us due to a misunderstanding that should never have escalated the way it did. We now find ourselves without the person who supported us financially and emotionally.

I’m now left to care for our four children—ages 18,15,10 and 8 my own, trying to maintain some sense of stability in the middle of all this. This has not only impacted us emotionally, but it has created a huge financial and mental burden as well.

What makes this even more upsetting is the way it all happened. Despite there being a clear mistake in identifying him, he was still taken. My son had to witness this entire event unfold, something no child should ever have to see.

To make matters worse, this all took place on private property—our apartment complex—where law enforcement (ICE) shouldn’t have even been allowed to enter without proper cause or permission. When asked for badge numbers to identify the involved officers, we were refused that information, even though it was all captured on video.

This situation is not just a personal hardship—it’s an injustice, and we are doing our best to hold on and stand up for what’s right. Any support, attention, or help during this time means more than words can express.
