Funeral Costs for our Mother
Donation protected
Hello everyone, my name is Kyle and my sisters and I could truly use your help. For those of you that personally know me, you know how hard this is for me to do. Asking others for support during difficult times. I guess you could say I’m a proud man, but even people like me need a helping hand from time to time.
It’s no secret that my sisters and I did not have a loving relationship with our mother growing up. In fact, it’s been about 15+ years since the three of us have seen or spoken to her, until last night as she lay in her hospital bed, knocking on deaths door. Unfortunately, that door opened during the wee hours of this morning.
Most people in our situation couldn’t, and wouldn’t do what we did. We were able to (mostly) put aside our feelings of hurt and despair to then sit at her bedside during her final hours. Since I began working in the funeral industry, I’ve quickly learned that all individuals, regardless of their pasts, deserve dignity upon their death. And that’s what we are trying to do. Put our mother to rest in a way that every human should be; graciously.
My sisters and I will be eternally grateful for any and all support you’re able to contribute. As you can imagine, this is not your everyday type of grief, but all the emotions, even the mixed ones, are so very real.
From my family to yours, we abundantly thank you.
Regards,
Kyle L. McGowan
