Hello- I am fundraising for my son Graham Larson. He has committed to Army National Guard service here in Massachusetts with the goal of becoming a member of Special Forces. He is on his way having just finished Basic training. He is now in preparation for Ranger School. The reason behind the fundraising request is that these soldiers are asked to foot the bill for the majority of their clothing and basic equipment. Ranger school out of pocket cost can run as much as $2000 as they are only allowed to purchase army approved items. These are for sale at speciality stores around the base at no real discount to the soldier. The salary for these young men and women is minimal and expenses high. Most former military I talk to state "this is just how it is - we don't serve for the money". That I understand but still feel these young men and women could use our financial support.

Graham is a tough, hard working, young man with determination and grit. He is looking forward to his goal - becoming a Green Beret in service of his country. We are so proud and any financial support would be most appreciated.
