April and her family have been coming up to Trails End since the ‘80s. It was always her dream to own her own property. In 2001, April and her late husband, James, became property owners on the corner of Fox Lane. Over the years, April and her children have worked in the community during the summer. You have probably seen them working at the Gameroom or in the Recreation department.

For the past 25 years, April has worked hard to take care of her property. She has poured so much love, energy, and time into creating a beautiful place for her family. Unfortunately, on Tuesday, May 20th, her beloved trailer burnt to the ground. This is a devastating loss right at the beginning of the season, especially because they do not have insurance to rebuild. The Layburn family lost priceless family pictures along with furniture and other possessions.
