What is 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline?
988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline is a free tool available 24/7 to anyone experiencing a suicidal crisis, emotional distress, or substance-use related troubles. Available through call and text, the 988 Lifeline connects you with trained mental health professionals that can provide emotional support, help you understand your problem, and even share useful resources so that you aren't tackling this by yourself. To honor a dear friend who was born on April 6th and taken away much too soon. Any amount donated-no matter how small-means a lot and helps towards reaching the goal!

- Suicide is the second leading cause of death among youth and young adults aged 15-34
- 48,824 people in the US died from suicide
- 2.2 million total suicide attempts were made in the US
- 14.3 million American adults have thought about suicide
These numbers show that while conversations about suicide aren't easy, they must be had. By choosing to have these tough conversations, we can not only begin to eliminate the stigma and misconceptions associated with suicide, we can also show those struggling with suicidal thoughts that there is support out there for them.
