Hello,
I am hoping to raise as much money as possible to support The Latymer Uganda Project, by running 10 kilometres every Sunday of September, with my final run taking place on the 28th September, at the official Vitality London 10,000 event, which starts and finishes outside Buckingham Palace.
The Latymer Uganda Project was established in 2013 to support educational organisations and charities in Uganda. It currently supports M-Lisada, The Mummy Foundation, Patience Primary School in Kampala, and Soft Power Education, a forward-thinking charity based in Jinja. Additionally, it uses some of the fundraising to sponsor eight children from M-Lisada to go to school each year, in the spirit of our school's founder Edward Latymer
I am looking forward to travelling to Uganda in late October to visit these organisations and see how they bring hope and education to many children in Uganda. As part of the trip, we will take part in activities such as teaching lessons to pre-school children, painting classrooms and interacting with teenagers at M-Lisada and learning from them.
Thank you for reading and many thanks in advance for all your support with the Latymer Uganda Project!
