To pay for legal representation in a Child Custody case.

Hi, my name is Adam Zervos.

My youngest son Hythe has just turned 9 years old.

Hythe’s mum and I split up just before Hythe’s 1st birthday.

We have three children together, I raised our two older on my own as Hythe’s mother abandoned them when she left and took Hythe away from us.

I have shared custody of Hythe and have been fighting for shared living arrangements for the past 8 years. Every time I come close to achieving my goal Hythe’s mum goes to some extreme to hinder, prevent or (as in my current circumstance) reverse my progress causing a legal battle that has spanned two countries and lasted almost a decade.

All I want is to have an equal part in Hythe's life and to be a good dad to my youngest son as I was to my two older children. However, Hythe's mum is severely parental alienating me from Hythe. In fact, one professional described my case of parental alienation by saying "this is as bad as it gets".

In 2017 Hythe's mum went as far as kidnapping our youngest son and took him out of his home country separating him from his big brother and big sister whom she abandoned at the time.

Hythe was returned to me through a relentless campaign by myself and my two older children and a joint effort between the Barbados and British High Courts.

The Court has awarded me shared contact with Hythe. His mum made it clear that she did not want this and has done nothing but frustrate my contact with our son.

Things were progressing very nicely and finally falling in to place.

In February of this year Hythe's mum kept Hythe away from me for six weeks going against our Court order.

Social Services and the Court got involved and Hythe’s mum was ordered to abide by our Court order.

Contact resumed and Hythe was looking forward to his summer time with his dad and big sister and big brother.

On the 12th of July of this year Hythe's mum forcefully picked Hythe up from my house on the Friday of my weekend with Hythe against my protests and against social services guidance and has not allowed Hythe any contact with me or his big brother since.

I have had absolutely no contact with my son for seven months even though my Court contact order is live and remains in full force.

It was Hythe's birthday two weekends ago. Hythe was supposed to be spending that weekend with me. I wrote Hythe's mum and asked to see him so that his big brother and I could wish him happy birthday and give him some birthday gifts. Hythe's mum did not even acknowledge my email.

Hythe's big brother and I were not even allowed by Hythe's mum to call or message 9 year old Hythe on his birthday.

Hythe was to spend Christmas week with me. This would have been the first Christmas Hythe would have spent with me since he was born. Hythe's mum has completely cut me off from Hythe and I will not even be able call or message him to wish him merry Christmas.

Hythe's mum has even cut her own mum (Hythe's nanny) off from having any contact with Hythe just because Hythe's nanny does not agree with what her daughter is doing.

Social Services are trying to help but have advised me that there is not much that they can do as this is a private civil matter and have suggested that I go back to Court.

I have depleted all of my resources over the past years with the many legal fees and have been representing myself in Court since August 2020.

I am exhausted and very much out of my depth and desperately in need legal of representation.

I do not have the means to acquire a solicitor.

I have explored every possible avenue of trying to get some assistance.

I miss my youngest son terribly and have run out of options, leaving me no choice but to beg for help with legal fees so that I may get my son back and my son can get his dad and big brother and nanny back.

I cannot give up on my youngest son.

Thank you very much for anything that you can donate to my cause.

All donations will go directly towards my solicitor / lawyer costs and legal fees.
I have to go through the Family Court in order to be reconnected with my youngest son.
Unfortunately this is my only option.
Without your help I will be unable to acomplish this.
