My husband's 3 nieces and 1 nephew have been removed from their home and the state of Oklahoma has asked us to take them indefinitely. They range in age from 3 months to 17 years. They will not be considered foster children so there will be little to no financial help. We can apply for assistance once the kids are here but there is no guarantee.
Any and all funds raised will be used for food, day care, and for travel to bring them to South Dakota as well as any other necessities these kids may have, including counseling!
Please help my husband and I help these, beautiful kids!!

WOW! Its been over 2 months since my last update....
Just this week we were granted full guardianship that will last until the kiddos are 18 or another court order is issued. That's great news but legal fees to do all that are not cheap! I have an amazing lawyer though who is graciously accepting payments versus having to pay it all up front!
We are getting a little bit of help from the state and the kids are on SD Medicaid! We also have day care assistance for the baby and WIC--what a blessing!!!!
Diapers (currently size 3) & toiletries will continue to be needed. Also we have tons of baby clothes up to 9 months so if anyone has larger sizes I am happy to take them. We are happy to take clothing you would like to part with for all the kids--I don't mind sorting and passing along if we can't use!! Or we can keep until we can!!
Also, Montana has officially started work on her GED and has her learner's permit to drive!! At the end of December she started working at JumpCraze and has already received her first $0.10 raise!! They have even mentioned her moving up to management this summer!!! She is such an unbelievably amazing young woman and enjoys having her own spending money and has started saving for her future!!!
Thanks to all who have helped out or even shared this page! We are so blessed to be able to help these kids and have an amazing community to help us do so!!

I haven't posted in a while....the kids are doing well. All have had birthdays except the baby who will be 1 in about 5 weeks!! I can't believe I will be throwing a 1-year old birthday party again! Its been 12 years!
Montana is still at Jump Craze and plugging away at her GED. Michael is taking guitar lessons and played soccer this Spring. Chaveaha also played soccer and has joined a local competitive cheer team!
