4 Children Involved in Fatal Head-On Collision

Dear Friends, Family, and Loving Community,

My name is Kara. I am reaching out today to ask for your support of the children that were involved in a devastating head-on collision that occurred on December 29th, 2023 in Siskiyou County, CA, near Montague. Hennessy, Jaymeson, Rose and Faith all survived the rollover proceeding the head-on collision, but as many already know, the accident took the life of their parents, Ben and Jessica. This accident has caused immense, widespread grief for the effected family and friends, and those in many communities. Hennessy and Jaymeson sustained major injuries in the crash, while Rose and Faith escaped with minor bumps and bruises. All of the children will need some sort of support to get through this difficult time.

In the aftermath of this horrific incident, the family is now faced with the daunting task of rebuilding their lives and assisting the medical and emotional journey of all four of the children. Hennessy and Jaymeson will be in the care of their father, Donovan, and Katie Brunson. Rose and Faith will be lovingly taken in by their paternal grandparents, Bill and Deb Stone. These funds are being raised, and will be split between these two families caring for the kids. I am Katie's sister, and the kids Aunt, and I will be making sure these funds reach the families.

With family and friends, and the community rallying for them, they can heal mentally and emotionally over time. If we can help alleviate the financial burden for the family, the kids can be provided the necessary resources to help them with recovery. Between counseling, aftercare from injuries, and all the additional expense that the families will incur with full time care, along with additional schooling to help the kids in their studies, any and all help given will be very much appreciated. All donations will be split between the 4 children.

We understand that times are tough for all, but any contribution, no matter how big or small, will make a significant difference for the lives of these children. Together we can make a positive impact and help restore hope to their lives.
