Hi, my name is Amy, and I am from Ireland. This August, I’m walking 100 miles to stand in solidarity with the people of Palestine.

I may be far away, but like many others around the world, I can’t stay silent while innocent people suffer. Every step I take is for the lives lost, for the families displaced, and for the children growing up under constant threat. This walk is my way of showing that I care, that I see them, and that I believe in justice, dignity, and freedom for all.

I’m fundraising for MAP – Medical Aid for Palestinians, a UK-based charity that provides life-saving healthcare to Palestinians in Gaza, the West Bank, and refugee camps in Lebanon.

MAP uses donations to:

• Deliver emergency medical aid during attacks and crises

• Provide hospitals with trauma kits, medicines, and supplies

• Support maternal and child health services

• Train and equip local Palestinian medical professionals

• Respond directly to urgent humanitarian needs on the ground
