Jurassic Coast 100km Ultra AND London Marathon 2025

HELLO DEAREST FRIENDS!!! UPDATED TO INCLUDE LONDON MARATHON THIS SUNDAY!!!

Something I meant to mention a while back but entirely forgot:

- this Sunday, me, Ami, Lois and Mel will be doing the London marathon 2025!!!

- on 17th-18th May I will be attempting a 100km, 24 hour hike with Lois, Callie, Kirsty and crew to raise money for Life is for Living Foundation.

I think everyone here who knows me, knows about this charity that Lois founded, my beautiful courageous, brave, loving friend who has stage 4 neuroblastoma. Life is for living foundation does amazing work with people with cancer and their families, providing financial and other support so they can have adventures and fun opportunities while dealing with cancer. Life is for living after all.

The hike, along the Jurassic Coast, looks taxing to say the least, and there are a few things I don't have yet, namely:

- Actual training for a 100km hike

- Practice map reading

- A proper appreciation of exactly how far 100km really is with an elevation of what seems like climbing a few mountains!!

However! I do have a few key elements which should give me the edge:

- A can-do spirit

- The eye of the tiger

- 1 (mostly) functioning compass, which Callie will use

- A real good feeling

With these on our side, we're going to be okay.
