Housing Assistance

A friend of mine, through no fault of her own, is being forced to move out of her rental home and needs help relocating.  Though she and her five young children are fighters, they need money to get a fresh start.  She rented through the Atlanta Housing Authority, but her soon-to-be former landlord failed multiple inspections, which he refuses to address.  As a result, AHA rightly shut him down, but not before his failure to fix leaky plumbing caused my friend to incur a $4,000+ water bill.

So now my friend and her little ones need to move, but first need to pay off the massive water bill and raise some money for a deposit for a new home/apartment.  We're fighting the landlord for the water bill money, but that may take some time.  Your help is much appreciated.
