A Home for Homeless Veterans

Base Camp Lindsey is building a transitional living home for homeless Veterans in Wichita Falls, Texas. We have purchased an empty nursing home that we are restoring that will be able to house 25 Veterans at a time.

Last year, we were able to get five Veterans off the street and into permanent housing. We've already helped four Veterans this year, and it's only March! We need our building open, but the costs are slowing us down.

We are completing the demolition phase and are already $210,000 into the building! Our next step in this process is to do the rough-in plumbing and replace all drain lines in the building since the current ones are unusable. Since we have a concrete foundation, the plumbers will need to trench through concrete to lay drains for toilets, showers, sinks, and the laundry room. The quote right now is $110,000 and we need your help!
