Support a Brave Journey Towards Healing

On September 18, 2024 I got that scary call that we never want to answer. The results of a scan i had done just 1 day prior. My chest, abdomen and pelvic scan showed a very large mass on my right kidney and nodules on my gallbladder as well as my lungs. THE "C" word is scary to talk about but now is a huge word in my day to day living.

October 15,2024 dr. Sobera and Dr. Allen will be working side by side to remove my right kidney and gallbladder (radical nephrectomy) to hopefully remove all my cancer . The lungs will be under surveillance every 2 months. Treatment plans ,staging and genetic tests will be done post removal.

My husband will be taking a leave from work to help me recover and keep my business running as smooth as it can be. I will need to be home resting and recovering 4-6 weeks. This means NO WORK! With medical bills and regular day to day bills I'm coming with a gracious heart for #1 PRAYERS.. I have 2 boys and 1 is still young in middle school and #2 to help ease some of the burdens brought on by cancer..No one said this is easy but with the grace of God I got this..

My community ROCKS as well as my family and friends even if $1 and a prayer is all you can donate ..I AM GRATEFUL AND FOREVER BLESSED.

Another petscan is ordered for Friday Oct.4 to see if any other cancer is found . My insurance only pays 50%of the $9,000 scan that is imperative in my recovery and journey..
