Pretty soon after Kevin was born, he was diagnosed with Noonan syndrome, and his little body wasn't able to create platelets. His family fought for him to get the best care in spite of having little resources and no health insurance. Kevin spent days and months at a time in hospitals with his mom constantly at his side. Mom doesn't speak English, but she made her voice heard. Against all odds, Kevin lived to be 14 years old. Yesterday, he left this world, leaving his family devastated. Dad hasn't been working for 3 weeks after being laid off. They need our help to afford last-minute expenses, rent, utilities, and food.
