On the 16th my boyfriend was involved in an accident resulting in him shattering his collarbone.  He had met with an orthopedic surgeon and it was determined that he would need surgery. He had the procedure on the 2nd in which they put a titanium rod and 9 screws into his collarbone. They ended up having to cut through a nerve patch which has left him with a numb section down through his arm that unfortunately will be there permanently. We also had to pay half of the surgery costs up front with the remainder due in 90 days... which we were DEFINITELY not expecting. So part of the campaign will go to paying off the rest. I am currently not working while I take care of our 7 month old son and 6 year old daughter.  Being our only income we are totally strapped on funds as they are allocated to necessities at this time. We absolutely were not financially prepared for him to be out of work. He could be out of work for at least 6 weeks to 12 and has already been off for a month...depending on how well he heals. My goal was determined by what I feel we will need to keep a roof over our heads and necessary bills as well. We have been very fortunate to get help from family and friends until now. I would like to be able to cover our living costs as well as pay back what we owe at this point to family. If you have helped us , thank you, a simple share would be appreciated immensely. I know it is a very tough time for a lot of people and honestly, I made this campaign and it has sat...unshared for weeks with the fear of being judged or mocked.
