Help a Widow Overcome Financial Hardship

My Dad had head and neck cancer which eventually developed to skin cancer; he battled cancer over a year and passed away around 4pm Christmas Day at home surrounded by his loved ones.

He had a plan in place so my mom would be okay but that has not gone as planned. Because he did not have his life insurance for 2 years at least, my mom is only getting about $250. My moms bank account is frozen and her account now says negative $99billion dollars and she can’t have it unfrozen till she gets a death certificate which will come in between 4-6 weeks.

So before my mom loses their cars and everything they’ve worked hard for and late fees start applying, I’m trying to raise at least half the amount of the life insurance she would have gotten to help her.

My mom and dad were married almost 20 years. This has been a difficult journey. Cancer itself was difficult, then the news of doctors could no longer help him before thanksgiving, then hospice, and finally his passing on Christmas. Not just difficult physically, but spiritually, mentally, and now financially.
