The Mitchell Family

As most may know, my mother-in-law Daphne Mitchell has been fighting cancer since 2012. A few years later, it went into remission. But unfortunately, it came back in 2017 with a vengeance. She has been vigorously fighting this terminal disease ever since. Over the years, they have accumulated a hefty amount of medical debt. Their monthly health insurance costs a fortune. There are a lot of items Daphne has had to get to have a good quality of life that insurance does not cover. Recently, they got the news that her cancer has once again spread, this time to her spine and decayed a large portion of her spine. She is now unable to drive, and her husband Matt has had to take time off work to be with her. This disease is financially catching up to them.

Daphne is a mother of 3. Two adult sons and a teenage daughter. She is also the grandmother of 5 beautiful children and one more on the way.
