My name is Brittany Proctor and I am writing this looking for support to gain kinship of my youngest brother for he has been in DCF custody since March. Ricky has been at a DCF group home since March 27th and would really love to be placed with a family member. In order to begin the process of him being placed with me I will need to get my own two bedroom apartment. Unfortunately, although I have been saving I do not currently have the amount of money needed to move and buy a cheap car for transportation for my brother and I. Therefore, it would be so greatly appreciated if you could make whatever donation you can to help so that I can get Ricky placed with me as soon as possible. I love and miss my little brother very much. I hate not having him around and would truly appreciate any donation you can provide. Ricky would also be very grateful to any and all that can help!!! He wants nothing more than to be able to stay with a family member instead of at a group home!! It has not been easy for him at 14 to go through all of these lifestyle changes. I know that many of you know both myself and Ricky as well as my brother Tom and all we want is to be able to begin the process of reuniting our family and this is the first step. Those of you who know me very well would know how hard this is for me to put out there and I would not be asking unless it was necessary. It has been a VERY long, bumpy, and emotional road but I want to do whatever it takes to reunite the family and for my brother to be where he is happy. Thank you all so much.
