Homeless Hookup: The Little Things
In 2007 I was on skid row. Homeless, wanted by the law, and addicted to almost any substance I could get my hands on. Today, I'm a self-employed entrepreneur. Starting as a boxing coach, turned fitness instructor, ive now ventured into he world of philanthropy. Where I found my love and my unique skill set, helping others! I've had to over come a great deal. And I know what rock bottom is, ive been there. And now I work within the nicer communities, so my inner workings and perspectives on both, allows me to bridge the gap, and reach a great number of people. For this charity drive, we went an took requests from the homeless and the response was staggering. They asked for hygiene items, socks, and money for food and bus fare. So, I'm collecting small items from local businesses and friends, however to make sizable impact i propose raising $1250-$1500. My scope and budget goes as follows, $500 of the total amount raised will go towards drop-off bins, a camera, freezer bags, gas money, parking pass, ect. (Things we need to operate). $750 - $500 will be spent on all day passes for bus fare and gift cards to locally owened returaunts. The additional $250 will be spent on hygiene items, and new socks
