My name is Shaymma a Palestinian living in Belgium. With great sadness, I'm reaching out to you today for help getting my family members out of Gaza to Egypt.

I grew up in Gaza, the country where my heart still is. The beautiful country where my dear family lives.

Due to their geographical location and restrictions from GoFundMe, I am stepping in to help launch this campaign. All donations will go directly to my family.

I will talk briefly about my family :

My family (5 people) lived together in an apartment which is partly destroyed by this war. My family lived a happy life in Gaza despite difficult circumstances.

My Father Ali is a pharmacist at a government clinic who recently lost his job due to bombing most of health and medical facilities in this war.

His wife Sanna who works as a childcare worker who lost her job by reason of bombing most of educational facilities, childcares and schools.

My brother Abdulrahman is a student at the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, third academic year, who has stopped with his studying as a result of bombing most of universities in this war and he is still dreaming to continue his studying and being a pharmacist like his father and to open his own pharmacy.

My sister Shatha is a student at the Faculty of Commerce, first academic year. Who has also stopped with her studying because of the war and she is still dreaming to continue her studying to be an accountant and open her own accounting office.

My little brother Ameer is 5 years old and he has also his own dreams to live like other kids in this world. To have his basic needs like shelter, food, clothing, medical care. To live in love, peace, health, education, equality, stability and a clean environment, a safe place to live and protection from all kinds of harm.

We don't know how long this terrible situation will continue, 6 months of random bombing, displacement, suffering, hurtness and sadness but we already know: if my family survives, there will be nothing to return to.

I am trying to do everything I can to offer help from here. But it's hard and impossible on my own.

The uncertainty about my family's safety is terrible.

I know they are trapped there and there is nothing I can do to help them.

This appeal is a cry for help: I want to help my family and I cannot do this alone.

I have to enter an amount of money as a goal and I can't even quantify this: how much does it take to build a new life for all those people? When they have nothing left to start with....

First of all, we try to find a safe place to stay. But even that costs a lot of money. It costs up to $5,000 per adult and $2,500 per child to get across the border to Egypt.

Fleeing was never an option for me and my family. But now, there is no other way.

I can't help them escape from this war alone, which is why I want to ask for your help.

اسمي شيماء فلسطينية أعيش في بلجيكا. ببالغ الحزن، أتواصل معكم اليوم للمساعدة في إخراج أفراد عائلتي من غزة إلى مصر.

لقد نشأت في غزة، البلد الذي لا يزال قلبي فيه. البلد الجميل الذي تعيش فيه عائلتي العزيزة.

نظرًا لموقعهم الجغرافي والقيود المفروضة من GoFundMe، فأنا أتدخل للمساعدة في إطلاق هذه الحملة. جميع التبرعات ستذهب مباشرة إلى عائلتي.

سأتحدث باختصار عن عائلتي:

كانت عائلتي (5 أشخاص) تعيش معاً في شقة دمرتها هذه الحرب جزئياً. عاشت عائلتي حياة سعيدة في غزة رغم الظروف الصعبة.

والدي علي يعمل صيدليًا في عيادة حكومية، وقد فقد وظيفته مؤخرًا بسبب قصف معظم المرافق الصحية والطبية في هذه الحرب.

زوجته سناء التي تعمل في مجال رعاية الأطفال فقدت وظيفتها بسبب قصف معظم المرافق التعليمية ودور رعاية الأطفال والمدارس.

عبد الرحمن طالب في كلية العلوم الصيدلانية، السنة الدراسية الثالثة، توقف عن دراسته نتيجة قصف معظم الجامعات في هذه الحرب وما زال يحلم بمواصلة دراسته وأن يكون صيدلياً مثل والده.

شذى طالبة في كلية التجارة سنة دراسية أولى، توقفت هي الأخرى عن الدراسة بسبب الحرب وما زالت تحلم بمواصلة دراستها لتصبح محاسبه وتفتح مكتب محاسبة خاص بها.

أمير يبلغ من العمر 5 سنوات ولديه أيضًا أحلامه الخاصة في العيش مثل الأطفال الآخرين في هذا العالم. أن يحصل على احتياجاته الأساسية مثل المأوى والغذاء والملبس والرعاية الطبية. أن نعيش في حب وسلام وصحة وتعليم ومساواة واستقرار وبيئة نظيفة ومكان آمن للعيش والحماية من كل أنواع الأذى.

لا نعرف إلى متى سيستمر هذا الوضع الرهيب، ستة أشهر من القصف العشوائي والنزوح والمعاناة والألم والحزن ولكننا نعلم بالفعل: إذا نجت عائلتي، فلن يكون هناك ما نعود إليه.

أحاول أن أفعل كل ما بوسعي لتقديم المساعدة من هنا. لكن الأمر صعب ومستحيل بمفردي.

إن عدم اليقين بشأن سلامة عائلتي أمر فظيع.

أعلم أنهم محاصرون هناك ولا أستطيع فعل أي شيء لمساعدتهم.

هذا النداء هو صرخة طلبا للمساعدة: أريد أن أساعد عائلتي ولا أستطيع أن أفعل ذلك وحدي.

لا بد لي من إدخال مبلغ من المال كهدف ولا أستطيع حتى تحديد هذا المبلغ: ما هو المبلغ المطلوب لبناء حياة جديدة لكل هؤلاء الأشخاص؟ عندما لا يبقى لهم شيء ليبدأوا به....

أولاً، نحاول العثور على مكان آمن للبقاء فيه. ولكن حتى هذا يكلف الكثير من المال. ويكلف عبور الحدود إلى مصر ما يصل إلى 5000 دولار لكل شخص بالغ و2500 دولار لكل طفل.

لم يكن الهروب خيارًا متاحًا لي ولعائلتي أبدًا. ولكن الآن، ليس هناك طريقة أخرى.

لا أستطيع مساعدتهم على الهروب من هذه الحرب وحدي، ولهذا السبب أريد أن أطلب مساعدتكم.
