I am raising funds for this and any other charity involving the environment. I feel here is not enough advocate for nature preservation in our world so here is my plee.
These days, every media platform is overfilled with anger, hate, nonsense, dreams, perseverance, and hope. Each member of the human race fighting to live peacefully, and always coming up short. There seems to be no end to the national debt, no end to war, no end to the pursuit of a distant happiness. Our culture is flawed, as are many others. I too am a flawed individual; filled with rage, doubt, fear, and desire. Nothing quenches my thirst for life. No part of this culture is appealing to me, nor many other cultures. That is not to say I despise it. I may disagree with many things but I appreciate life and believe in free will. I try not to get involved in politics or religious preference. However, I feel guilt for being idle. There will be many people who want to point out my flaws, and say I'm not worth listening to, or that I'm ignorant- and normally I'd agree, but I'm not here to change the way people live, or to prove anyone wrong with half-hearted facts. Terrible things will happen as long as this race exists and progresses. Beautiful things also happen, and that it why I'm writing this now.
I want to encourage everyone to keep fighting for their beliefs and opinions. I want to urge everyone to always have a purpose to live, no matter what measure of worth it has, even if someone gets offended. I want everyone to continue to wake up everyday and make steps towards achieving their dreams. I realize that some people have aspirations which cause harm to others, and I do not wish to change the behaviors of these people. Change is inevitable in all of us, be it through revelation or death. Be it through death, we can still grow. However, if our planet dies- there will be no votes to cast, no prayers to make, no podiums to stand on, no help to offer or to beg for, and no words to heal with.
For all the games we play- political, athletic, artistic- we must decide now to save and preserve whats left of our world. There will be no profit to make from anywhere if there is no oxygen to breathe. There will be no prizes to earn if there is no world to interact with. There will be no people to love, no experiences to have if we continue on our current path.
I see small percentage of people who do whats best for this world without agenda. But there is a greater percentage of the world who, collectively, do not believe in their immediate and undeniable impact on the world. We can't believe we are helpless, we cant believe the world will take care of itself. We are what is necessary to return this world to a thriving peace. We must change or there will be no future for our children to inherit.
Please help this world. Please make a sacrifice. Not by boycotting straws, not by veganism, not by rallying at abortion clinics, not by voting, not by terra-forming Mars, not by exposing Hollywood and government secrets- putting yourself at risk of getting suicided.
I'm here to promote saving our world. We have more than enough manpower, machine power, and advanced technology to stop the Amazon wildfire, to remove trash from the seas and rivers- yet there is more effort put into distracting us with various degrees of politics and religion. I say to all those who are burning that oil- how long before oxygen becomes a privilege? Who will you vote for when there is no longer means to survive?
The world did its part in creating us. We are inseparable from the earth. Us helping our world to survive is the world helping itself. Please donate any time or funds you have to help stop the Amazon fires. I realize there is no profit to be made in it, and there is likely no reward- but again I ask, what rewards or profits will there be if we can't survive? If there is any duty to fulfill or honor to be had, we cannot do so without first prioritizing the land which makes it all possible.
