After vandals attacked Aut Bar, many in the Washtenaw County community have been asking how they can help. The vandals ripped down the rainbow flag, pulled down the lights and rainbow streamers damaging the fascia board on the building. The damage is estimated in the hundreds, but the targeting of this prominent LGBTQ establishment is damaging beyond just the dollars. We need to stand strong with our LGBTQ community and let the world know that acts like this will not go unanswered. Dollars raised beyond the cost of repairs will go to support the Common Lanuguage Bookstore and the Jim Toy Community Center two prominent establishments that serve the LGBTQ community.
