Since February 2025, my family has faced one hardship after another from serious health issues to unimaginable emotional challenges. But nothing could have prepared us for the devastating tragedy that struck on August 5, 2025, around 1:00 a.m., when Bill and Kim Koons lost their home to a sudden, catastrophic fire.

In a matter of moments, they stood outside with nothing but the clothes on their backs — no shoes, no phones, and no belongings. Their entire home, every memory and meaningful item, including priceless family heirlooms like emeralds passed down through generations, was gone in the flames.

If you know Bill and Kim, you know they are the first to show up when someone is in need. They’ve never asked for anything in return. Whether it was supporting their employees, lending a hand to friends and family, or giving generously to their community — they have consistently gone above and beyond with compassion and humility.

They would never ask for help now, even as they face this unimaginable loss. But this is where we come in.

Now is our turn to rally behind two people who have spent their lives helping others, and who now need a little help themselves. Every gesture, every bit of support means the world. Let’s show them they are not alone.
