Please Help Us Keep Our Home

Hello, I am doing this as an absolute last resort to save my family's home.

Work has been incredibly slow for James and we have fallen two months behind on a lot of bills. If we do not pay a big chunk of rent to our landlord before the tenth, we will be evicted.

My mental health has been a big struggle since losing my grandma and having severe post partum depression after having Layla. The entire year or so after her birth is a blur. My family has suffered greatly due to this.

Things we have done to try to alleviate the financial strain:

We have sold everything we can and caught up utilities aside from one month of electric.

James has spent hours reaching out to multiple property managers and companies and sent over portfolios and referrals trying to gain more business. We have gone door to door in neighborhoods putting his business flyers and cards on doors. (We will continue to do this)

James and I have collected metals and old appliances and will be taking them to the scrap yard today for some money.

We have applied for assistance and we were denied. All we receive is medical insurance benefits for the children which has been a HUGE blessing especially since Ava's back condition diagnosis. We have gone to local food pantries. I have put all pride aside to do what I have to do to help my family.

I have reached out to multiple charities and that give rental assistance and it is luck of the draw each month who they pick and we have not been given any indications or received any notice of receiving help.

I have applied for night jobs so I can still care for Layla during the day. I tried finding a work from home job, but most require heavy phone presence and that is difficult with a rambunctious toddler in the background.

Any amount at all would be a tremendous blessing for us and help us save our home. All of our girls have birthdays in the next month and then we have the holidays. Losing our home right now would be devastating.
